Field Note 01

Trust Begins Where You Meet the Ground

The body learns trust before the mind does.

We often think trust is something we build through confidence or certainty.

But the body teaches something different.

Trust begins where your feet meet the earth.

When you learn to stand with attention, distribute your weight with intelligence, and feel the support already beneath you, something quiet begins to change.

The nervous system stops searching for safety outside itself. It begins finding it here. In this moment. In this breath.

In the simple experience of being supported.

Alignment isn't about perfect posture.

It's about creating the conditions where trust becomes something you can feel.

A Practice

Stand barefoot for one minute. Notice where your weight rests. Without forcing anything, allow your feet to receive the ground.

Sometimes the first step toward trusting life… is allowing the earth to hold you.
